Ciara Crowley

Coach Crowley was a member of DC Girls Baseball’s original tournament team in 2016. She has returned as an alum to coach the next generation since 2023.

Coach Crowley started playing baseball when she was 7 years old and continued throughout her childhood. She played for her high school’s softball team, along with a travel club team. During her time as a college student at Syracuse University, she played club softball. She is an experienced catcher.

Throughout her time playing both baseball and softball, she has remained connected with the DC Force community and will continue to do so for the years to come!

“I remember how nervous I was leading up to my first tournament with the DC Force. I was terrified. I had traveled across the country (my first time in an airplane) and I didn’t know a single person on the team. After being introduced to my teammates and coaches, my anxiety was instantly put at ease. They made me feel at home in a way I had never felt before. The support and community that I experienced during that first tournament is something that hasn’t diminished throughout my 12 years in the DC Force family. I want to give back as a coach because I want young athletes to feel accepted and valued, the same way this community has made me feel. On top of that, my goal is to bring a sense of competitiveness to the team while ensuring that everyone is having fun.”
