DC Force Competes at the 2025 Lady Liberty Classic

Congratulations to the DC Force teams and players that competed at the Lady Liberty Classic this past weekend!

12U had a truly phemonemal weekend full of things to be proud of. The squad came together as a mighty crew of 9 that held their own and showed great grit and resilience -- coming back on Sunday to beat a team they lost to the day before; earning a spot in the championship and walking away with an exciting 2nd place result. On top of that, they flawlessly executed a 1st and 3rd play to throw a runner out at home — something the team had been working very hard at in practices. Overall, an incredibly successful weekend on and off the field for 12U filled with friends and smiles that represented their team’s values for the season: H.E.A.R.T. (Hustle, Effort, Attitude, Resilience, and Teamwork).

14U are the 2025 Lady Liberty Classic Champions! The team went 4-0 on the weekend behind stellar pitching, solid defense, and clutch hitting by all. Together they defeated the hosts, the New York Wonders, 7-6 in the championship game in a stunning victory. Truly an all around team effort win!

A small but mighty team of 9 represented 16U DC Force this weekend. They put up a fight through the weekend on Saturday and Sunday, but ultimately went 0-3, getting defeated by the New York Wonders and Philadelphia Liberty twice. Although the game results didn’t turn out in their favor, the group became more and more cohesive with each game. The sun was shining and the team continued to shine in spirit. We are proud of our players for their hard work this weekend and look forward to coming together again at DMV!
