GRAND SLAM FOR GIRLS
Grand Slam for Girls is the kick off to the 2025 summer season and our biggest fundraiser of the year!
New uniforms. New hats. New players coming together as a team for the first time and veteran players earning a championship win. A new game-based program for younger players and dedicated skills sessions for all catchers. Alumni coaches returning for the summer and our first full-time program coordinator joining this year. We have a lot going on and we need your support to make it all happen!
As we prepare for the summer and fall season, we're launching our annual fundraising campaign, GRAND SLAM FOR GIRLS, to raise awareness and funding for our program. DC Girls Baseball is a non-profit, (501)(c)(3) organization dedicated to promoting girls' participation in baseball, fostering their sense of belonging, and offering them opportunities to grow as leaders both on and off the field.
Our season consists of five major tournaments that kick off in Rhode Island for the Slaterettes Classic in June and concludes with us hosting the DMV series in October.
For the 9th year, DC Girls Baseball is headed to the largest all-girls baseball tournament in the country. From July 21-24, our players will join hundreds of girls from across the country at The Golden Eagle Sports Complex in Sparks, Nevada for Baseball for All Nationals.
We need your help! Your support enables us to make baseball accessible to all girls, to provide scholarship funding on behalf of girls who would otherwise be unable to play, and to offer high-level instruction by coaches who mentor and believe in our girls.
