FALL REC TEAM (AGES 13+)

DCGB’s local rec team is entering its 6th season competing in Arlington Senior Babe Ruth. The team plays two games per week (one weeknight and one Saturday game) and is led by DCGB Head Coach Jen Hammond.
Our participation in ASBR allows our players to get regular in-game experience and reps under the guidance of a DCGB coach, to focus on building strong fundamentals, and to bond as a group.
WHO: DCGB members ages 13-16 (as of 4/30/2025)
WHERE: All games take place in Arlington, Virginia
WHEN: Mid September - Early November
PRACTICES: Players are strongly encouraged to attend DCGB’s Sunday morning practices to continue developing their skills outside of games.

COST: Players are required to register directly with ASBR as members of the league (average cost is $200-$250 per season). In addition, DCGB charges participants a fee to support coaching costs for the team (average coaching fee is $200-$250, depending on size of team).
Scholarship funding is available for families who require financial assistance to participate.
